Important Announcements

  • 2017 PROGRAM RE-ENROLLMENT: To remain an active participant with the New Jersey Vaccines for Children (VFC) and/or the 317-Funded Adult (317) Program in 2017, every provider must re-enroll between November 29, 2016 and December 23, 2016. Click here for re-enrollment directions.
  • 2016-2017 Influenza Vaccine Update: 11/18/16, Influenza vaccines may be ordered in amounts of 300 doses, as appropriate for your VFC patient population. Order sufficient stock to last 3+ weeks. Influenza vaccine is available for 317-Funded Adult providers.
  • 11/04/2016- HOLIDAY SHIPPING SCHEDULE: Vaccine orders placed after December 13th may not be shipped out until January 2017. Please plan accordingly. No deliveries will be made Friday, November 11th and Wednesday, November 23 through Friday the 25th.
  • 10/05/2016- Please join us for the New Jersey Immunization Conference at the Renaissance Woodbridge Hotel on November 30, 2016. Attention all primary and back-up vaccine coordinators: You may satisfy the 2016 provider education requirement by attending the "Vaccine Storage & Handling" workshop during the conference.   • 8/31/2016- The New Jersey VFC Program is pleased to announce ordering for influenza vaccine will open for all VFC and 317-Funded Adult (317) Program providers. Click Here for ordering instructions. VFC and 317 influenza vaccine must only be given to VFC or 317 eligible patients. Federally-funded (VFC or 317) vaccine cannot be borrowed for use in non-eligible patients. Likewise, private vaccine should not be given to VFC or 317 eligible patients. Borrowing between public and private stock vaccine is not permitted.

  • 06/15/2016 - The New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH) and Rutgers University-New Brunswick, with support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, strongly recommend that certain Rutgers University-New Brunswick populations receive the full 3-dose series of Trumenba, with the first 2 doses received during the summer of 2016. For more information on the outbreak of meningococcal disease associated with Rutgers University,New Brunswick and the vaccination recommendations, please click here. Providers who participate in either the New Jersey Vaccines for Children (VFC) or 317- Funded Adult Program can order Trumenba for individuals recommended to be vaccinated as part of this outbreak response.
